Your Ultimate Source for Premium Cold Formed Parts!

Delteks is a family-/women-owned business entity founded in 1985
when web, e-mail, and social networking service had not come into
advent yet. With the collective experience of our dedicated employees
over three decades, we are able to make it a hallmark of Delteks – ATM
(Attitude That Matters) in quality, service, and communication with
customers.

You may need refundable tooling payable upon PPAP sample approval,
or JIT delivery in partials based on a blanket order to complete within 18
months window. Either, we can offer to your such needs with quality
consistency strictly conformed to related standards under ISO 9001-2015 QA system.

Not only that we subcontract to utilize state-of-the-art multi-die multi-
blow cold headers to produce precision parts of near-net shape and
solid crystalline to your drawings, but also we secure best possible Cpk
value by holding tighter tolerances than prevailed in the industry here in
Taiwan.

TOOLING

IN-HOUSE TOOLING CAPABILITY

To ensure manufacture cost reduction, quality consistency, and slow but sure business growth, a division to design and fabricate tools was implemented in 2002 with Solid Edge CAD to safeguard our field perfection in cold forming. To that avail, the infinite pursuit for Tool Lifetime Optimization has since become an endless curriculum to Delteks.

Various states of complex stress-strain are simultaneously present when cold forming tools are cyclically loaded. To deal with this unbeatable reality, our targeted goals are two-fold.
(1) In exploring optimum marginal efficiency brought by increase in pre-stressing of dies (i.e. tool material selection) and stiffness of tool assembly (i.e. heat treatment of tools), a positive correlation is there between both increases and tool life.
(2) In handling with die geometry itself, a process simulation module capable of calculating multi-axial damage parameters shall be indispensably required.

There are quite a few commercial FEM packages in the market. Each of them is impressive for their disciplinary specialization. But the only fly in the ointment has been none of them offer the possibility to calculate multi-axial damage parameters to the tool materials applied, making predictions of expected tool life virtually impossible.

Nevertheless, we are about an inch close to building a simple but highly referable FEM simulation module for the estimation of tool life and location of cracks. TLOS (Tool Life Optimization Simulation), as we plan to call it, will carry manufacturing at Delteks to next level of optimum tool lifetime as well as lowest machine shutdown frequency.

COMPANY PROFILE

Established in 1985, DELTEKS started with manufacturing of Cup Point Square Set Screws and Hex Flange Bolts for garage/conduit and grain bean industries. In 1992, first 4-die 4-blow former was facilitated to manufacture jackshafts for rider mower clients. Today, DELTEKS possesses a fleet of 31 state-of-the-art Bolt/Part Formers along with a full category of high-tech QC/QA inspection apparatus.

For nearly 25 good years in business with a simple mind of rationalism, Delteks deserves the pride in the magnitude of responsibility it has been taking in handling complaints from its customers. And in quite a few occasions additionally, we have humbly refused to deal with companies who are clients to our customers. That kind of righteousness and loyalty gives Delteks the winning edge and enables us to survive better than others during worldwide economic recession.

WHY DELTEKS ?

Internal Economy of Scale (IES)
Every Delteks employee keeps the same memory of their interview, one much more of chats about themselves and their families than test of their calibers required for the job. The owner family believe only a group of people with same life value like the annular rings of a labyrinth bearing seal can there be a company of unified strength. Occasionally when emergency arises for immediate assistance from staff other than the one in charge, there’s always someone stepped up to wrap it up. Everyone is adequately a proper backup to others at any time and occasion. It is so hearty an IES you yourself would like to witness and believe nothing but the best would always be there to serve you.

Lifetime Learning
The continual break-through in cold forming methodology as well as know-how has won us the reputation of “co-ODM” and “Synergy Pursuer” from quite a few OEM and/or ODM customers in various industries. To be always one move more prepared than required for a tie-break in a technological confrontation, we will not be shy to ask for teachings of wisdom from veteran professionals at some of our manufacturing customers. Knowing failure is the mother of success, it’s better off being in a learning curve than without.

ATTITUDE MATTERS!
We have ever been despised, cheated, backed out, boycotted by a few companies in the past twenty-five years. But we chose to look at the bright side of life and business, and never let these negative experiences become any barriers in treating average customers fair and righteous with usual sincerity, hospitality, and honesty.

Loyalty
Every our bona fide customer is protected by us in the way a bona fide supplier is up to do. The absence of non-compete clause at Delteks is to the proven loyalty its employees have had for the company, what the state of no lawful enforceability on who else we deal with is to the spirit of exclusiveness we bear in mind over business with you. No matter whether you are a representative, a manufacturer, or a distributor, you are always the first and only one to know of any competition that comes to us for business of given areas you have already had with us. Because in God we trust, “The main gate blocked, a side window considerately opened.”

SOURCING CAPABILITIES

The excellent sourcing capabilities at Delteks are self-explained by a series of upgrades it had in coping with the rapid-changing worldwide competition and environment.

Conditional Contract Manufacturing (CCT): 1985 ~ 1994

Delteks was established in the middle of 1980s when one business model after another was prescribed for the purpose of driving down production costs. OUTSOURCING was the collective name for these business models and recognized a vital part of the business lexicon in 1980s. Among the others, [1]Conditional Contract Manufacturing (CCT) was the one we utilized for huge supply of many parts where economy of scale could not be reached in-house. Such as ratchet handle for DIY tool box, bicycle pedal shaft, tri-lobular screws for home appliances, and etc. Delteks was able to grow slow but sure under CCT. The steel cost stability and the [2]extremely low priced Made-in-Taiwan 3-die 3-blow bolt formers are main contributors.

Modified Offshore Outsourcing (MOO) added: 1995 ~ 2004

What Goes Around Comes Around. Internet boomed, competition heated. To China many factories moved, pricing plummeted. L/C term proved money waste and trade barrier, T/T and/or Net term popularized. All these altogether accelerated the global market to dash toward a [3]Saturated Economy.

Knowing the pros and cons of CCT in Taiwan under new worldwide environment of “jungle rule,” Delteks remained able to salvage proportional CCT business in 1996 by “owning” a new plant in China under the concept of modified offshore outsourcing (MOO). Later same year, exhibition at Cologne Show and ISO 9001 accreditation were accomplished. And five years later in 2001, plastic injection molding was embodied into operation to service customers.

Industry-Oriented Growth Platform (IOGP): 2005 ~ NOW

Plummeting material cost and downtrend of ever-decreasing rate of revenue well depicts the economy in the last 5 years. Delteks for no exception was impinged by the financial crisis beginning 2008. But at a lower rate of revenue/growth were we able to survive well in 2008.

Upon continuing the MOO at our overseas plant, our forging plant in Taiwan is also focused on developing/marketing of some “key parts” used in finished products or components by various industries. Such as Pinion Drive Shaft for pulling winch, Adjuster Screw/Socket Assembly for trailer brake drum, Pinion Shaft for rack-and-pinion type door closer, Guide Rods for aluminum and stainless steel trailer brake caliper, premium quality bearing/bearing-less Garage Door Roller, door panicking Pinion Cam, and more …

[1] Raw material (ready-drawn coil), allocation of tool/die, outside quality control (OQC), and on-
the-line defect detector were provided by Delteks.
[2] Having just come into advent, it costs only $80,000 for a 3/8” bore, 4” stroke one, including
installation, training, and 2 complete sets of spare parts. QTC (Quick Tool Change) and 3-digit
  rpm was selling points.
[3] Saturated Economy is an economic state where products have become diffused within a market
(in particular, U.S. market), because of heated competition and advanced technology.

MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

Selective Material Processing (SMP) from stem to stern plays an important role in cold forming at Delteks fabricating customers’ complex parts from concept to reality. Before nanostructured wire coil generated by HPSPD (High-Pressure Severe Plastic Deformation) becomes as commercialized as hot-rolled aluminum-killed SAE1010 steel, various compensating processing remains indispensable in a give-and-take brainstorming for both the ductility and strength of a cold formed part.

Economy of Scale (ES) is adequately reached in several other operations at Delteks than the one commonly known between tool/die amortization volume and unit cost of a part. In manufacture programming specifically, Economy of Scale has to be there between the number of dies/blows required and optimum manufacturing efficiency, tool life estimate by FEM and number of tool to build for each die/blow, and etc.

Multi-Stage Cold Forming process means more to Delteks for how customers’ parts or components are effectively and efficiently made in conformity with specifications than out of what variety of forming machines that made your parts. To that avail, some certain equilibrium is always reached among various characteristics of the machine simulated for manufacturing a specific part. Such as DKO and PKO (Die Kickout and Punch Kickout) strokes of all dies/blows involved, adaptability of targeted cutoff diameter and length in a machine’s maximum and minimum limits, and etc.
